The Stow Fire Department provides a proactive approach to the saving of life and property for the city of Stow, Ohio. Through aggressive prevention, inspection, suppression, and rescue practices, coupled with a broad-based public safety educational program, accidental fires are kept at a minimum.
Our Public Safety Education programs enables a free-flow of communication and information between our school system and local businesses. These programs provide a profile of the department, not always seen by the public, and help the citizens understand operational requirements.
Tours are available to Stow residents and school groups. Tours are scheduled Monday - Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. by contacting Sandy Ray at (330) 689-3204. Tour size should be a minimum of 5 people, and a maximum of 25.
