Silver Springs Campground

Among the many amenities of the Stow Parks system is a small campground operation nestled in the eastern portion of Silver Springs Park.  This rare facility is one of only a few municipally operated campgrounds in the state of Ohio!

Silver Springs Campground features 27 sites - both shaded and open. Each site is equipped with the following:

• Picnic table
• Fire ring
• Adjustable grill
• Electrical hook-ups

Water spigots are scattered around the campground.  A trailer dump station is available for mobile units. Portable restrooms are on site, flush restrooms are nearby at the ball fields.

 

Reservations are not accepted.  Availability is on a first-come, first-served basis. Pets are permitted (on a leash) and firewood is available for a modest fee. Camping clubs are welcome. The site fee is only $10.00/night for Stow residents and $12.00/night for non-residents.

Silver Springs Camping Club

The Silver Springs Camping Club is a group of local camping enthusiasts who meet monthly to enjoy a weekend of social camping, including a covered-dish dinner.  For more information, contact Ken Barnhart at the Stow Parks and Recreation Department.
